The Gallipoli Barracks Community Centre envisions itself as a vital connection point for military members and their families, embodying the concept of COMMON—Community of Military Members Optimizing Neighbourhood Connections. By engaging with Defence families early and consistently, the Centre aims to foster community-driven outcomes and create a robust support network for those who may feel isolated due to postings.
Recognising the diverse interests and varying stages of military life, the Centre is committed to listening to families' needs at every stage of their journey. Embracing all shapes and sizes of families, the Centre welcomes and supports the entire Defence community, ensuring that everyone feels included and valued.
Gallipoli Barracks Community Centre is committed to fostering a strong, inclusive culture that supports the Australian Defence Force (ADF) members and their families. Building a welcoming and engaging environment not only strengthens community ties but also provides crucial support for new families who may be relocating. The emphasis on friendship, personal growth, and inclusion ensures that the center becomes a cornerstone for these families, offering them a sense of belonging and a space for positive connections.
To achieve these goals, it's important for the management committee to continue leading by example, ensuring that the values of openness, inclusivity, and support are embedded in every aspect of the organization. This will not only build trust within the community but also solidify the center's reputation as a vital hub for engagement and growth.

The GBCC Team
The structure of the Gallipoli Barracks Community Centre consists of the Management Committee and our Community Support Coordinator. The role of the Gallipoli Barracks Community Centre management committee is to manage the organisation within the approved budget and in accordance with the Gallipoli Barracks Community Centre stated objectives, policies and procedures as specified in the policy and procedures manual.

This website and all information provided within in are for members and those looking to be members of the Gallipoli Barracks Community Centre (GBCC). All documents remain the property of the GBCC. Any grievances or disputes with governance should be brought to the attention of the GBCC committee in writing, so that any potential issues maybe resolved. All GBCC policies are agreed to when signing onto the membership of the GBCC.
Any and all complaints, grievances, disputes and/or breeches of the policies, procedures and governance of the GBCC, shall result in disciplinary action from the management committee, as per the GBCC constitution. The Constitution is lodged and signed off with the office of Fair Trade Queensland. The GBCC is an incorporation in and of itself and is held as such under the law.
