The Gallipoli Barracks Community Centre is an incorporated community organisation formed in 1991 to provide services to the families of Australian Defence Force personnel. The Gallipoli Barracks Community Centre is a non-profit organisation managed by a Management Committee of volunteers from within the Defence Community. Gallipoli Barracks, EnoggeraEnoggera Barracks (also known as Gallipoli Barracks) is an Australian Army base in the northwestern Brisbane suburb of Enoggera in Queensland. It was officially established in the early 20th century when the area was used for field training, although the area was used by military units as far back as the mid-19th century. Since then it has been developed into a modern military base, which is now home to units of the 7th and 11th Brigades.

Serving Hearts, Serving Community
The Gallipoli Barracks Community Centre provides a community space for Defence members and their families to come together for mutual support, education, connection with the community they live in and supports their personal and social wellbeing.
The Defence lifestyle presents unique challenges and opportunities, including the impact of frequent postings and deployments. There is a need for the establishment of good social foundations with a strong sense of community and a support network for those feeling the isolation a posting can bring. We have a Facebook group to keep members connected through our community. |
